It was arranged for the trombone choir of Trinity College of Music, London.

Performance notes:

Play expressively throughout, with rubato as desired.

The melody line in verse 1 should be firm but dolce; keep the accompanying harmony at a secondary level.

The solo line in verse 2 should also be unobscured.
